St. George's, Grenada, 26th June, 2020: The final days for property owners to benefit from the 5% discount on their 2020 property tax account quickly approaching.
Property owners are encouraged to take full advantage of the limited opportunity for rebate and pay their property taxes on or before next Tuesday 30th June, 2020.
Taxpayers can use the online platforms taxservices.gov.gd using a credit or debit card or through account to account transaction if the taxpayer has an account with the Grenada Cooperative Bank.  Remember, registration is required to become an e-user.
Payment can also be made by cash or cheque at our cash office at the Ministry of Finance on the Carenage or any District Revenue Offices.
Please ensure the tax type and the tax account number are included on cheques.
Cheque drop off boxes are available at the Inland Revenue Division to facilitate easy payment.

St. George's, Grenada, 25th June, 2020: The Ministry of Finance through the Inland Revenue Division (IRD) continues to explore innovative ways of making the process of paying taxes, stress- free.
Taxservices.gov.gd and pay.gov.gd are available for a safer, easier, faster, more convenient and reliable way of doing business.
Persons in the diaspora currently using Wire Transfer to pay their taxes are encouraged to use these online platforms at no extra cost.
Taxpayers can register to become an e-user and pay taxes using their credit or debit cards. All taxes (except PIT) can be paid and filed using taxservices.gov.gd.  Additionally, Motor Vehicle Registration, Driver’s Licences and other government services can be paid using pay.gov.gd.
Please note that persons wishing to continue using Wire Transfers are reminded there is a bank-processing cost attached to that service, which varies depending on the currency as follows: USD$23, CAD$23, GBP$11.50, EURO $11.50. However, there is no cost for this transaction for persons within the OECS.
Taxpayers using Wire Transfers are required to provide as much as is possible, to complete the processing of their payments in a timely manner, including:-
  • The full name as registered with the IRD.
  • Tax Account Number and/or Cadastral number. (For Property Tax).
  • Tax type and period.
Customers are encouraged to use the online platforms as a preference to Wire Transfers.

ST. GEORGE'S, GRENADA, Tuesday, 17th June, 2020: The Ministry of Finance continues to implement initiatives to facilitate improved access to its services and reduce the inconvenience of long lines at its cash offices throughout the tri-island state.  
A new portal pay.gov.gd has been created to enable customers to pay Motor Vehicle Registration/Inspection fees as well as Drivers Licences online as part of continued partnership between the Inland Revenue Division (IRD) and the Royal Grenada Police (RGPF).
This new payment option, is in keeping with the IRD’s new strategic focus of building a more Customer-Centric Organisation by delivering efficient services to its valued taxpayers, as well as improving taxpayer compliance.
In 2020 the IRD was able to implements multiple payment options including wire and electronic funds transfers via its e-services platform.
This most recent platform: “pay.gov.gd”, is easy to use, reliable and secure and patrons are encouraged to make full use of this time saving opportunity.

ST. GEORGE'S, GRENADA, Monday, 15th June, 2020: Property owners are reminded that June 30th is the deadline for the 5% rebate on their Property Tax.
Payment must be made in full to benefit from the rebate. A number of options are available to pay Property Tax to the Inland Revenue Division.
Cash – Cash payments can be done at IRD Cash Office and District Revenue Offices.
Cheque- Cheques can be mailed or dropped off at Cheque Drop off Box located at the Inland Revenue Division.
Online- Taxpayers mustregister to become an E-User by logging on to taxeservices.gov.gd; Taxes can be paid using your Credit/Debit Card or Account to Account Transaction through the Grenada Co-operative Bank
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) –This method of payment is facilitated by banks within the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union ECCU.
